Dr. Larika Robb (BChD; DipOdont (UP))
“I was inspired be the type of dentist people love going to, by a bad experience and a great experience I had with dentists as a child.
The first experience was with a dentist who really hurt me and had little compassion for my pain or anxiety. I was terrified to go to the dentist again. But then one day, as kids will, I was skateboarding, fell and broke both my front teeth.
In an emergency 7 o’clock in the evening root canal experience, I met a dentist, who was not only kind, but who comforted me, helped me and gave me back my smile. When I left his rooms that evening, I told him that one day I wanted to be a dentist like him.
That experience sparked a lifelong dream I finally realized after school and am now living.

Dr. Robb obtained her Bachelor Degree of Dentistry from the University of Pretoria. As a final year student, she received the SADA Dentsply Award for Maxillofacial and Oral Pathology. During her studies she was also involved in research and co-author of an internationally published article, for which she received the Ken Roe Award in 2006. In 2007 she did her community service in Vrede, Freestate; also attending clinics in Memel and Warden. In 2007 and 2008, she enrolled part-time and continued expanding her knowledge by completing a diploma in Forensic Dentistry; and loves to help the police out in the odd forensic case every now and then. In 2008 she joined a private practice in Newcastle, and after a year, started her own dental practice at 50 Murchison Street. Soon realizing the role of technology in the modern dental practice she further qualified herself as certified Cerec dentist, and is now also enjoying the art of CAD/CAM Dentistry.
Dr. Robb enjoys swimming during the swim season, preparing for the Midmar Mile every year. She also enjoys spending time with her family, friends and dogs. Other interests include good wine, golf, building puzzles and photography.

Natascha
Registered Dental Assistant
Natascha finished school in 2008 and started working in the dental field in 2009. In 2013 she passed her Board exam with the HPCSA with whom she is now registered. She has a desire to help people and is committed to making sure her patients feel as comfortable as possible. She enjoys working with, learning about and helping patients receive the highest quality dental care as well as enabling them to have an enjoyable experience at the office. Other than dentistry, Natascha enjoys spending time with her husband Geoff, her family, friends and her dogs.
Farzana
Administration and Finances
Farzana joined the team in February 2018. Boasting over 16years of experience in the field of dental administration, she is a welcome addition to our team, and we are extremely happy to have her!
Farzana is passionate about helping others, always positive and approachable, and extremely hard working. Her smile will be the first to greet you when you walk through our doors.
In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband and her 2 children.
Mart
Registered Dental Assistant
Always smiling, calm natured Mart has been in the Dental Assisting business since 1975. She has a passionate love for our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, and enjoys spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her Yorkies.
Jane
Sterilization and cleaning
Jane is the newest addition to Team Toothfairies, and joined us in August 2019, and has been such a blessing to us all. She believes in hard work and always has a smile on her face. In her free time she loves baking, and spending time with her family.
